Professor Mark van Loosdrecht at Delft University of Technology delivered the William Mong Distinguished Lecture titled “Anticipating the next century of wastewater treatment: resource recovery and the blue economy” on January 17, 2024 at Lecture Theatre A, G/F, Chow Yei Ching Building, The University of Hong Kong. The talk was facilitated by Professor Tong Zhang of Department of Civil Engineering.
During the lecture, Professor van Loosdrecht discussed options for resource recovery and introduced the state-of-the-art for energy, nutrient and chemical recovery from wastewater.
