MSc Student Commons
The MSc Student Commons embodies its motto - “Meet, Study, Collab” - serving as a dedicated physical space for taught postgraduate (TPG) students of HKU Engineering to connect with peers, academics, and industry practitioners within and across disciplines.
Officially opened in the Academic Year of 2025/26, this space fosters academic excellence and dynamic collaboration, while acting as a cornerstone for the TPG Enrichment Team’s mission. By providing outside-the-classroom experiences, it promotes social interaction, cultural diversity, and intellectual growth, empowering students to develop to become global citizens, lifelong learners, and future leaders in engineering and beyond.
Located off-campus at Pacific Plaza on the 6th and 8th floors*, the Commons features a minimalist design with warm tones and stunning views of Victoria Harbour. This modern setting offers a relaxing and collaborative environment, equipped with flexible workspaces and advanced technology to support study, dialogue, and interdisciplinary networking.
