The Faculty of Engineering, The University of Hong Kong hosted the Asian Engineering Deans’ Summit 2023 (AEDS) from May 15 to 17, 2023. The AEDS is an annual platform for engineering deans from across Asia to exchange ideas and share views on the latest developments in engineering education and research. The theme of AEDS 2023 was “Disruptive Innovation in Engineering Education and Research”. The Summit gathered renowned scholars and leaders from across the world to share insights through eight sessions on emerging topics in engineering research and education. The event had attracted over 60 deans, associate deans and leaders from engineering schools in Australia, China, India, Japan, Singapore and Vietnam, etc.
