The University of Hong Kong reaped a total of twelve awards at the Special Edition 2022 Inventions Geneva Evaluation Days. Among the twelve awards, engineering academics received 2 Gold Medals and 3 Silver Medals. The International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva is one of the most significant global annual events devoted exclusively to inventions. Around 780 inventions from about 25 countries were evaluated on virtual platforms by the international jury of specialists in March 2022. The results were announced on March 28, 2022.
