The Master of Science in Integrated Circuits and Electronic Systems (ICES) is a new programme jointly offered by the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and the Center for Advanced Semiconductors and Integrated Circuits.
The curriculum provides advanced education and training in the field of integrated circuits (IC), semiconductors, and electronic systems. It covers advanced topics such as semiconductor device physics, analog, digital, and mixed-signal IC design, computer system architecture, power electronics, and advanced electronic packaging and integration. This programme offers the students the option to complete the dissertation through either research or industrial internship under the guidance of experienced faculty members and industry experts. The internship will be provided by leading companies in partnership with this programme.
