The 214th Congregation, Faculty of Engineering, for Class of 2025 was held successfully in four sessions on July 24 and July 25 at the Grand Hall, Lee Shau Kee Lecture Centre, Centennial Campus, HKU. Over 2,800 participants, including 850 graduates and 1,950 guests, attended to celebrate this significant occasion.


We were honoured to host four distinguished Guests of Honour whose inspiring addresses left a profound impact on our graduates. They are Ir Dr Alex Siu Kun Chan, SBS, President of Hong Kong Academy of Engineering; Mr David Poon, Senior Vice President of Infineon Technologies and President of Infineon Technologies Greater China; Ir Professor Frank Chan, GBS, JP, Senior Vice President of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers; and Mr Raymond Cheng, Former Chief Operating Officer of Asia Pacific HSBC. Their motivational stories and insights will undoubtedly inspire our graduates as they embark on their future endeavours.


We were also pleased to have Professor Thomas Wong and Mr Peter Mak, our esteemed alumni who graduated 50 years ago, returning to their alma mater to celebrate this joyful occasion with our Class of 2025!
