Professor Xiaojuan Qi (EEE) named among IEEE AI's 10 to Watch for 2024

 

Professor Xiaojuan Qi of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering named one of IEEE AI’s 10 to Watch for 2024. This distinguished award, presented by the IEEE Computer Society, recognizes 10 outstanding early-career researchers globally in Artificial Intelligence (AI), selected from a highly competitive pool of nominees.

This global recognition highlights Professor Qi’s valuable contributions and her impressive impact on groundbreaking innovation and vision shaping the future of AI.

Four Engineering Scholars listed in “100 Young Pioneers in Artificial Intelligence (AI100青年先鋒)” in 2025

Four Engineering Scholars listed in “100 Young Pioneers in Artificial Intelligence (AI100青年先鋒)” in 2025. The award selection was initiated by DeepTech and MIT Technology Review China, aiming to discover young talents aged 40 and below who have made outstanding contributions in the field of artificial intelligence in China.

The nomination results have been announced in the 2025 Zhongguancun Forum (ZGC Forum Annual Conference), held in Beijing, China from March 27 to 31, 2025. The ZGC Forum is a state-level platform of China for global innovation exchanges and partnerships.
