The Faculty of Engineering (HKU Engineering) is delighted to join hands with Swiss Capital Group (SCG) on the CRYPTOPORT Digital Economy City cum Science and Technology Park project. Professor David Srolovitz, Dean of Engineering, and The Honourable Dr Gary Sum, Chairman of SCG and Cryptoport, who is also an esteemed alumnus of the Faculty, attended the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held on March 21, 2025.
By leveraging the Faculty's exceptional academic prowess and research capabilities, in collaboration with SCG, we look into the possibility of advancing and enriching university education, exploring joint research and development partnerships at SCG CRYPTOPORT in Ghana. This collaboration will offer the potential of providing students from both institutions with a distinctive learning experience and valuable opportunities.
