2025 Singapore Study Tour
The Innovation Academy recently organised 2025 Singapore Study Tour, offering students a dynamic exploration of innovation, sustainability, and cultural heritage.
The study tour featured visits to leading academic institutions, including the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). Students explored pioneering innovations, such as 3D printing applications in medicine, bio-engineered insects for disaster response, and sustainable electric vehicle designs. The industry-focused learning environment at SIT sparked new ideas for real-world applications of engineering principles. The visit to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery also enabled students to gain insights into Singapore’s water management and recycling systems. The tour provided a unique opportunity for students to engage with cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices, fostering inspiration to address global challenges.
Beyond technical learning, the tour immersed students in Singapore’s vibrant cultural landscape, deepening their appreciation for its diverse heritage and global vision. This blend of technical and cultural experiences enriched students’ perspectives, equipping them to approach engineering challenges with creativity and a global mindset.
