Professor Ruibang Luo of the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing and Data Science and Professor Lizhi Xu of the Department of Mechanical Engineering have been honoured Outstanding Young Researcher Award 2023-2024 by HKU.
The Outstanding Young Researcher Award is specifically designed to recognise young researchers who have exhibited exceptional quality in their research endeavours and to encourage quality research.

Professor Yizhou YU and Professor Jia Pan awarded 2024 Research Output Prize
Professors Yizhou Yu and Professors Jia Pan from the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing and Data Science have been awarded the 2024 Research Output Prize.
The Research Output Prize is a faculty-based award presented annually to celebrate outstanding research contributions. This honour recognises their research titled “A transformer-based representation-learning model with unified processing of multimodal input for clinical diagnostics,” published in the Nature Biomedical Engineering.
