The Faculty was thrilled to annouce that a donation of HK$100K by the Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA) to establish the Hong Kong Construction Association Lo Pan Award for undergraduate and postgraduate students who participated in Project Mingde projects. A Thank You reception was held on December 15, 2023.
HKCA was established in 1920 and aimed at improving the construction industry’s standards in Hong Kong. Members of HKCA, currently over 300, are registered construction companies in Hong Kong. It is the recognised and leading voice for Hong Kong's main contractors and over the years established a trusted working relationship with the HKSAR Government, the Construction Industry Council (CIC), other professional institutions and labour unions.
