Congratulations to Professor Reynold C.K. Cheng of the Department of Computer Science for being accepted as an ACM Distinguished Member for his contributions to algorithms on large-scale data processing.
The ACM Distinguished Member program recognises up to 10% of ACM worldwide membership based on professional experience and significant achievements in the computing field.
ACM SIGSOFT Outstanding Research Award 2024
Nominated by Professor T.H. Tse of the Department of Computer Science, Professor Tsong Yueh Chen of Swinburne University of Technology received the ACM SIGSOFT Outstanding Research Award 2024 for his contributions to software testing through the invention and development of metamorphic testing.
Professor Chen was previously an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Hong Kong.
