The HKU Excellence Awards Presentation Ceremony 2020 was held on March 31, at Rayson Huang Theatre, HKU Dean of Engineering Professor Christopher Chao, awardee's families, and colleagues had joined the ceremony to share their joy.
This year the University has established two new awards: HKU Innovator Award and HKU Young Innovator Award. Congratulations to Professor Tang Chuyang of Department of Civil Engineering for HKU Innovator Award and Dr Kwok Ka-Wai of Department of Mechanical Engineering for HKU Young Innovator Award. The new awards are to recognise outstanding Faculty members whose innovations demonstrate exceptionally high potential impact (legacy or projected legacy) with transformative results to foster development.
