Dr Grantham Pang of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering was among the twelve selected Croucher Scholars for the Croucher Science Week in 2018-19. The selected Croucher scholars completed an intensive science communication training programme and visited a total of 60 schools and reached over 12,500 primary and secondary students to share their passion in science.
Croucher Science Week is an annual science festival running every spring in Hong Kong. Funded by the Croucher Foundation, and is jointly organised by the Croucher Foundation, the HKSAR Education Bureau and the Hong Kong Science Museum (managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the HKSAR), the Croucher Science Week is designed with the mission of raising science literacy within the society and bridging the gap between scientists and the younger generation.
