The "Reunion at the Races 2019" was held on June 2, 2019 in the Sha Tin Racecourse. This annual event was organised by the HKU Foundation in conjunction with the HKU Alumni Association Challenge Cup which has been established since 1971.
We were honoured to have staunch supporters of the Faculty joining the Engineering table, including Ir Francis Bong, Former Director and Chairman (Asia) of AECOM, Dr Alex Chan and Mrs Kendy Chan, Managing Director of Applied Technology Integration Ltd, Professor Eric Ma, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of NWS Holdings Limited and Professor Nicolas S.Y. Yeung, Board Chairman of Project Mingde.
President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Xiang Zhang, together with alumni, professors, staff and friends shared the joy on this special occasion.
