Undergraduates topped in Final Year Energy Project Competition

Undergraduate students from Department of Mechanical Engineering attended the Best Final Year Project Competition award presentation ceremony organised by HK Energy Institute

Our student, Mr. Robert K.C. Chu from Department of Mechanical Engineering, received the Champion Award in the 2013-14 Best Final Year Project Competition (Individual) organized by the Energy Institute (Hong Kong Branch). The award-winning project entitled "Hydrogen and power generation from scrap aluminum" was supervised by Prof. Dennis Y.C. Leung.

Our students, Mr. Pak Hin Chan, Mr. Ryan Lesley Chan, Mr. Kah Kuin Hing, Mr. Koon Yip Sit and Mr. Hwa Yen, from Department of Mechanical Engineering, received the Merit Award in the 2013-14 Best Final Year Project Competition (Group Project) organized by the Energy Institute (Hong Kong Branch). The award-winning project entitled "Design of Vibration-Resistant Flywheel Storage System On-Board a Container (“VFSS”)" was supervised by Dr. C.K. Chan and Dr. Y.H. Chen.
