Congratulations to Professor Tong Zhang and Dr Clarence Choi for receiving two awards from Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) respectively.
Professor Tong Zhang of Department of Civil Engineering received The HKIE Grand Award 2023 - Innovation Category with project titled “A customizable in-manhole sampling robot for sewage surveillance”. The HKIE Grand Award 2023 aims to recognise the achievements and contributions of the engineering profession towards the development of Hong Kong.
Dr Clarence Choi of Department of Civil Engineering received Young Engineer of the Year Award 2023. The annual award is to recognise local outstanding young engineers who have made valuable contributions to the continuous development of Hong Kong through their engineering achievements.
