Professor Quentin Z.Q. Yue of the Department of Civil Engineering awarded First Class of Natural Science Award by the China Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering for his paper "Digital drilling process monitoring (DPM) technology and theoretical method for in-situ test of soil and rock strength and profile”.
2019 Paper Award for IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics

A paper entitled “Minimum Active Switch Requirements for Single-Phase PFC Rectifiers Without Electrolytic Capacitors” by Professor Ron Hui and his team of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering received 2019 Second Place Prize Paper Award for IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics.
