Dr Yunhe Hou of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and his former student Dr Wong Wang, former Postdoctoral Research Fellow Dr Liang Liang and two elaborators from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and State Grid Corporation of China received the First Place Best Paper on Energy Development and Power Generation for the paper entitled “Analysis of Low-Frequency Stability in Grid-Tied DFIGs by Nonminimum Phase Zero Identification”. The paper was published in IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion in 2018.
