What do engineers do? While engineers in different disciplines may have their own area of focus, a central theme always emerges: engineers are masters in problem solving. In this talk, Dr Hayden So will take a look at how engineers have been addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges, and examine how engineers have been solving problems through an ingenious combination of science, innovation, and perseverance. Finally, Dr So will suggest ways through which you can become a good problem solver yourself and be ready to join the global league of elite engineers addressing the world’s grandest challenges.
