Ma Yixhuan X., a PhD student supervised by Professor L K Yeung in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, received the Best Paper Award (3% of the accepted papers) and the Young Scholar Award for the paper titled ‘A spatial temporal model for decoding dynamic vision with convolutional neural networks” in the 9th WACBE World Congress in Bioengineering.
