The H.K.U. Engineering Alumni Association (HKUEAA) Reception cum Class Representative Appointment Ceremony was held on April 12, 2018 at the Foundation Chamber of the University of Hong Kong where the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony was also arranged.  The MOU formalises a donation pledge of over $600,000 from HKUEAA in support of experiential learning activities in the Faculty of Engineering for three years from 2017/18 academic year.

At the ceremony, Professor Norman C. Tien, Former Dean of Engineering, updated the alumni about the way forward of the Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing (Innovation Wing) which will provide an enabling environment for students to stimulate their innovation and creativity.  It is hoped that future leaders can be fostered with creative, interdisciplinary and hands-on abilities to tackle real-life problems.  Professor Tien thanked HKUEAA, a staunch supporter of the Faculty, for their generosity and visions to partner with the Faculty to nurture the young generation.

Dr C.K. Chui, Director of Innovation Wing, also introduced the experiential learning activities which will be carried out in the Innovation Wing to the audience.
