Two group of students South Korea’s Sungkyunkwan University and College of Engineering, Shantou University visited the Faculty of Engineering in early 2018 respectively.
A group of biomedical engineering freshmen of the Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) visited the Faculty on January 23, 2018. A mixer was held to let students from HKU and SKKU to have a better understanding on the education and research opportunities provided by the two universities, followed by a campus tour and laboratory visit.
Another group of engineering undergraduate students from the Shantou University visited the Faculty on February 5, 2018. Professor Wong Sze-chun, Associate Dean (Development and External Relations), hosted a welcoming session to share about the latest development of the Faculty with the students. Students visited Mechanical Engineering’s 3D printing facilities, imseCAVE and the virtual reality lab in Department of Computer Science.
