The HKUEAA Scholarship presentation ceremony was held on January 21, 2017 during the HKUEAA 41st Annual Dinner and Dance. This year, three undergraduate students were awarded the scholarship.

"It has been a matter of honour for me to contribute to the HKU Engineering Alumni Association (HKUEAA) as a student member. I am very elated to have received the HKUEAA Scholarship Award this year in recognition of my academic performance, extra-curricular ventures and contribution to the Association. The prestigious award has not only provided me essential financial assistance but is also a shining feather in my cap. I am extremely grateful to HKUEAA for granting me a platform to polish my skills and learn from some of the leading engineering professionals in Hong Kong."

“It was my honour to be one of the recipients of the HKU Engineering Alumni Association Scholarship 2016-17 and I would like to thank the alumni from HKUEAA for supporting undergraduates like us. As a Year 3 student studying Electrical Engineering, I am determined to become a professional engineer and make contributions to society in the future. This scholarship truly motivates me to continue to strive for excellence and to keep working towards my goals.”

Cathy Chan Hoi Ching
BEng(EE)-III

“It is my honour to be the recipient of the HKUEAA Scholarship this academic year. I would like to thank the HKUEAA for being generous and kind in giving us the support and encouragement to further contribute to the society through doing social services and to work hard to become a professional engineer in the future.

Besides giving scholarships, HKUEAA has tried its best to increase the exposure of undergraduate engineering students to the engineering community through organizing events, such as the GMS, career talks and seminars. GMS is the best mentorship progamme that I have ever joined and my mentor has given me a lot of support.

From my personal experience, I would encourage students to take part in the activities of HKUEAA as many as possible!!”
