The HKU Teaching Innovation Award Scheme aims to encourage pedagogical innovation. Last year, two engineering academics had joined other Faculties and were awarded the Teaching Innovation Award (team) 2020.

Lee of Faculty of Business and Economics, and Ms. Ellen Seto of Technology-Enriched Learning Initiative for HKU edX Professional Certificate Programme in FinTech
· Dr. King-hang Lam (Leader), Dr King-shan Lui of Department of Electrical and Electronical Engineering, and Dr. Leon C.U. Lei of Technology-Enriched Learning Initiative for Remote learning under First Principles of Instruction Framework applied in the course Integrated Design Project
