The H.K.U. Engineering Alumni Association (HKUEAA) 43rd Annual Dinner & Dance was held on January 19, 2019 at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel. The Faculty is most grateful to the HKUEAA for a donation pledge of HK$200,000 in supporting student experiential learning activities. A cheque presentation ceremony was held during the occasion.
Further to the donation, the H.K.U.E.A.A. Scholarship aims to support undergraduate students who display leadership qualities, and show interest in community affairs to participate in activities that would broaden their horizons and enhance the development of their leadership qualities. This year, the following three undergraduate students were awarded the H.K.U.E.A.A. Scholarship:
- Mr Jain Rajat, Computer Science, Year 2
- Mr Qiao Danyu, Mechanical Engineering, Year 3
- Mr Yeung Chin Hou, Civil Engineering, Year 3
