Dr Li Ping receives Young Scientist Awards in two different events

Jul 30, 2018

Dr Li Ping, Research Assistant Professor of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, received the Young Scientist Award at the 2018 International Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Symposium which was held in Beijing on July 30, 2018. The ACES Symposium serves as a forum for developers, analysts, and users of computational techniques applied to electromagnetic field problems for all frequency ranges.

Dr Li received another Young Scientist Award at PIERS 2018 which was held in Toyama, Japan, from August 1 to 4, 2018, with his paper entitled “Numerical Modeling of Graphene Nano-ribbon by DGTD Taking into Account the Spatial Dispersion Effects,” co-authored by Li Ping, Jiang Lijun, and Bagci Hakan.  PIERS has been a world-renowned conference in the area of electromagnetics and photonics.

Congratulations to Dr Li for his achievements!
