The University’s Information Day for Undergraduate Studies 2017 was held on November 4, 2017 and it attended by over 60,000 students, parents, teachers, as well as members of the public. With a theme “HKU Engineering, Shaping a Better Future”, the Faculty’s exhibition at Haking Wong Building Podium was a very impressive area projecting an image of a contemporary and cohesive faculty with different departments and disciplines. Full house of attendance was resulted in the admissions talks as well. Interesting projects were showcased in Students’ Union area and laboratories. Visitors gained a basic understanding of various engineering disciplines through laboratory tours, exhibitions and hands-on projects. The event was clearly successful in showing potential students and their families some of the wonderful opportunities available here at the Faculty.
