Students admitted via DAS may be granted advanced standing credits. The BEng programmes have set aside 32 senior year places (i.e. third-year student places of the four-year curriculum) in 2017-2018 for direct entry by sub-degree (i.e. Associate Degree (AD) or Higher Diploma (HD)) graduates from community colleges or Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) under VTC.
If you are a graduate of recognized full-time Associate Degree (AD) or Higher Diploma (HD) programmes in community colleges in Hong Kong in an engineering discipline which should be of at least two years in duration, we welcome your application through the Direct Admissions Scheme to the third year of the BEng degree. Final-year students on such programmes can also apply and their applications will be considered subject to their completion of the programme by August 2017.
AD or HD graduates are allowed to choose up to 5 programmes with senior year places. If you are also interested in admissions as a first-year student under the four-year curriculum, you can include first-year programmes among your programme choices. For first-year programmes, your application will be considered together with other applicants from the Non-JUPAS scheme.
If you are given an offer to a first-year programme under the four-year curriculum, you may be granted advanced standing credits as recognized by this University from your previous education to shorten the length of time or reduce the credits required for graduation. To Apply
