Summary:

Innovation is considered one of most important aspects of coping with challenges in the 21st Century. Everyone wants to be creative and innovative, but how? Where do innovative ideas come from? Are diligence, perseverance or academic qualifications sufficient (or even necessary)? In this talk, we shall explore the importance of interdisciplinary pursue and intellectual interaction in prompting us see things differently, develop new problem solving skills and why “being broad” is as important (if not more) as “being deep”.
