Best Paper Award in the CIB World Building Congress

Dr Wei Pan and his PhD student Mr Long Chen from Department of Civil Engineering won the Best Paper Award of the CIB World Building Congress WBC16, held in Tampere, Finland May 30 to June 3, 2016, for their paper entitled “Co-production of energy use and carbon emission reductions in building environmental assessment”.

CIB is the acronym of the abbreviated French name: "Conseil International du Bâtiment", and in English is “International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction”. CIB was established in 1953 with the support of the United Nations, and is now the world's foremost platform for international cooperation and information exchange in the area of building and construction research and innovation. CIB World Building Congress is held every three years as a major international forum.
