H.K.U. Engineering Alumni Association (H.K.U.E.A.A.) and the Faculty of Engineering are going to hold a 1-Day Technical Workshop in Castle Peak and Black Point Power Station. The details are as follows:

Program Highlights
As one of the power industry leaders in the Southeast Asia region, CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd (CLPP) operates at a vertically-integrated electricity supply business, providing a highly-reliable supply of electricity to 80% of Hong Kong’s population. Its diversified portfolio of generating assets uses a wide range of fuels including coal, gas, nuclear and renewable sources.
The event provides introductory experiences in power station, such as plant tour, visit to gas turbine repair workshop and technical training at workshop etc. CLPP Engineer representatives would share their challenges faced during daily operation and maintenance.
Complimentary lunch and transport are arranged.
Application method
The number of participants is limited to 20. Priorities would be given to Year 2 and Year 3 Students major in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Attendance certificate will be available.
